The medical device BIOPTRON B2 is designed for use   by health professionals.

The length of each treatment session is easily preset to up to 95 minutes, dividable into minute steps and controlled by an integrated soft-start/soft-stop electronic switch, however 8 minutes seems  to be optimal treatment Its angled shape makes it easy to position the device in different ways, so that the patient's whole body can be treated.

The filter diameter of the BIOPTRON 2 is approx. 15 cm.


The Bioptron 2 is the largest unit and offers the widest treatment area.

It has a 150mm lens, 90W bulb and weighs 4.3kg. It has an LED timer which can be preset up to 95minutes for use by hospitals, vets, physio therapists, health and beauty clinics.
It comes with 3 different stands to accommodate different clinical uses:  
  • The regular floor stand -  extended arm with 360 degree pivot Clinical stand -
  • Full extension arm with feather touch memory
  • Wall bracket in situations with limited space or  when the unit need not be moved.
The  low cost and quality of the B2 allows its wide use   in clinics for burns, ulcers, wounds and post surgery application.

The B2 units are installed in a number of salons,        spas and hospitals and have been trailed by clinicians around the world yielding excellent results.
